49 degrees at 6:30 AM on the Coast

Normally, I wouldn't be up this early most days because I'm more of a late night person. For example, I like to go to sleep around 10:00 or 10:30 pm but the problem is that often I will wake up at midnight and be awake from midnight to 2m or even 4 am. So, as. retired Person I have to get enough sleep to function right so this might mean I have to sleep to 10 or even Noon in order to get enough sleep to be okay at 77 1/2 years old.

However, today my wife was worrying about one of our relatives and so she woke me up (actually I was writing the previous article and went back to bed but she was awake worrying. And when she asked me about this relative I said, "You know, this family is like the father is driving the motorcycle and his wife and child are behind him on this motorcycle. This is like something you might see in South Korea or Thailand or even Viet Nam where motorcycles and bicycles are much more common than in the U.S. by the way.

For example, in December 1985 I remember riding a bus to get to where we got a boat to Koi Samed Island from Bangkok and seeing two men riding a motorcycle carrying lumber on one of their shoulders. Now, in the U.S. you would never see this because this is a really good way to die, for example, but the men were carrying lumber on their left shoulder somehow driving between 45 and 60 miles and hour down a 4 lane highway or freeway. I don't know if  I got a picture of this or not but either way it was pretty mind blowing that they could get away with this without dying. But, somehow they seemed like this was perfectly normal for them.

Anyway, I said this family was like the father having problems driving this motorcyle with his wife and child on board too and this father having psychological problems and getting angry and I said: "If you and I are sitting by the side of the road watching this family ride down the road with an angry father "What can we really do?" We can scream at them but just screaming might make the father accidentally run into a tree killing all three of them. So, What do we do?

So, anyway it's 49 degrees here on the Northern Pacific Coast of California which is pretty cold near San Francisco for Any time of year (even though a week ago the Temperatures this time of day were often 29 to 31 degrees which is below freezing (at least in Fahrenheit) where we live on the planet.
