Yes. This is possible if people are starving enough from lack of food.
So, if the rich of the world who might own stock in AI don't share the wealth with poorer people then those poorer people likely will rise up various places on earth and kill the rich and destroy the AI that took their jobs away.
If you don't think this could happen just study the history of the world.
Those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it.
