I was looking back 7 years today because of my Chapters 12 through 18 written in 2018 of "Memories" (regarding Arcane)

A whole lot has happened between then and now like our 5 week trip to Lake Louise through Lake Tahoe, Teton National Park, Yellowstone National park, Glacier National Park, Banff National park in Canada and Lake Louise and Calgary in Canada then down through Idaho and Washington and Bainbridge Island and Portland and finally for the 4th of July Mt. shasta California. In 2022 just before this trip despite Chipageddon we were able to buy exactly the right Subaru Ascent with all the automatic driving features I wanted with Electric Seats and stuff my wife wanted and seat that will heat themselves like my wife wanted in Glendale because they are the biggest Subaru Dealer in the U.S. as of 2022. So, we had actually about 12 cars to choose from to get to exactly what we wanted at that time. Then I was learning to drive using Automatic Driving features out on the open road across Nevada and Idaho and Wyoming and Montana and British Columbia and Alberta Canada.

However, my wife wasn't comfortable as I learned to drive in sync with Automatic Driving features on the open road so I learned to shut off the automatic Steering while passing large trucks because otherwise the automatic Driving features brought us just too close to Big Semis while passing them on freeways and 4 lane highways wherever we were traveling for 5 weeks time.

another couple traveled with us in their own vehicle during about 3 to 4 of these weeks too but got Covid while playing a musical Concert in I believe southern Washington state. Luckily, they were traveling separate from us at this time so we were not exposed to the Covid.

So, even though my wife and I got Covid in November 2024 it was the first time either of us had had it.

I felt like I was going to die so I had our housekeeper drive me to my family doctor. He said about 90% of Colds at that time were also Covid so he had me take a Covid Test which came up positive so my wife and I after this both realized we both had covid for the first time which can be problematic for a 70 years old (my wife) and a 76 year old (me) at that time.

Then in the fall in 2022 I was in the hospital for Atrial Fibrillation thinking I might die but Amiodarone and a Cardioversion (taser to the heart) kept me alive.

Now, most of the time I'm healthier than I was at around 37 in many ways which is amazing to me at this present age of 77.

Modern medicine if you can get good help is literally a miracle here in the U.S.

My wife's biological mother lived until age 95 recently with all her mental faculties intact so longevity wise this is very good for my wife's future.

For me, my Great Grandmother lived to be 105 in Kansas and my great Grandfather lived to be almost 100 after being a Captain for the Northern Army in the Civil war out of Kansas.
