I was watching a part of "Forrest Gump(1994) with Tom Hanks
There is a scene in Viet Nam where a bullet bites Forrest in the Butt while he is rescuing his wounded platoon members one by one by picking them up and carrying them out of there while the bullets are flying all over the place. I was wondering why this calmed me and a few days later I realized it was that he was rescuing his buddies so they didn't have to die there alone in the jungles of Viet Nam.
This movie tends to make all of us who actually live through these times for real in our own lives cry simply because it is so touching to so many of us who lived through all this particular kind of Chaos that killed 50,000 of us who were young and still alive then.
If you haven't seen Forrest Gump yet and you lived through this era and were over 15 years old it might be very cathartic (cleansing) to watch this for you too.
