This is a slightly fictionalized account of what actually happened in 1942 and elsewhere caused by this experiment trying to make ships invisible. Albert Einstein and possibly Nicola Tesla are the inventors of this Technology it appears. However, many died when they tried this technology who were mostly sailors on the U.S.S. Eldridge.
