There are two main reasons for the increase in weather related deaths worldwide. The first one is easy. There are just so many more people. I recently found out that world population has almost tripled since I was born. This creates a lot more human bodies vulnerable in the first place.
The second main reason is rising ocean temperatures. Water has less temperature rise to turn into evaporation into clouds and rain but more ominously the steady temperature rise on so many of earths oceans simultaneously makes Hurricanes and cyclones bigger with stronger winds which create worse flooding like we see now in Myanmar(Burma) with 131,000 or more square miles of land now underwater.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
