I personally use firefox as a browser on my PCs and Imacs. Since Internet explorer IE5 through IE8 have been found to be vulnerable to all passwords being potentially stolen whether those passwords are to games or to banks or to paperless credit card records or internet records of all kind. and since this could be done remotely anywhere on earth, I agree with the above article that in order to protect all passwords people need to move away from Internet explorer versions 5 through 8. I don't know if earlier versions are okay or not.

also, just so you know Microsoft is also trying to fix the problem please read this above article on a potential patch to solve the problem. which is great if no one already stole financially oriented passwords from you.
