Chinese earthquake struck at 13,000 feet in altitude
10,000 homes destroyed in recent earthquake. If you have ever been at 13,000 feet anywhere on earth shelter any time of year is very important to survive even one day there, and even moreso since snow is coming. Though the situation isn't as grave as the quake that hit Haiti, still the 100,000 people in the area many whose homes are no more will be struggling to survive the next months in tents without proper heating or insulation. Even with enough water and food many will likely freeze to death until the weather gets warmer.
