rock and glass particles could shut down jet engines from Iceland ash plume
I was listening to the above web news article starting with the word button "Icelandic" above.
It appears that the glass particles and rock particles are in the Ash Cloud as it spreads south and has closed Heathrow and Paris Airports and endangers any jet engines flying through the plume of dust, glass and rock particles as the plume blows south through Europe. The last time the Heathrow Airport was closed like this was 9-11-01.
