In politics if you go to the far right worldwide you wind up with Fascism and Totalitarianism. But if you go to the far left far enough you wind up with anarchy and the end of the nation state entirely. Most people prefer something in the middle worldwide with some sort of constitutional democracy and human rights for everyone in that nation.
The furthest right you can go presently on Earth is Osama Bin Laden and an Islamic Caliphate. And now the furthest left anyone has managed is Wikileaks and Julian Assange. But often on the outer fringes of the extremes, many of the extremists on the right and on the left agree on certain things. And that is one of the reasons what is happening is so dangerous to all of us who value our nation states.
It isn't just the U.S. Government that was just targeted. It was ALL governments that have been targeted for destruction by anarchists and you will see soon as the assassinations of people on those wikileaks lists begins by Osama Bin Laden and his followers in earnest.
Every nation is like a ship but if someone wants to show how powerful he or she is by opening valves to let the water into the ship then the ship will start to sink. So, whether the nation states of the world go down like the Titanic with all of us on board or we are saved is up to all of us now.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
