I was talking to my wife about the article I just wrote called:
Crazy Times
Her response was the title of this article which I think is a very important one. What does the World Want? and then second "What does America want?" which will likely be partly answered in 50 days or so when we elect our next president. When I found out that:
U.S. to outperform Global Growth this year
I was very happy for the U.S. because things won't tend to be as bad here as everywhere else on earth. But, it also means it is completely logical for people to be losing it in China and in Muslim nations now because economically things aren't as good there right now comparatively speaking. If it weren't what they are demonstrating and rioting about now it would be something else they would be rioting about. Most of the rest of the world is really miserable right now. The U.S. was once seen as an Elephant and the nations of the world like mice. I'm not sure that's true anymore because now most of the world are still sort of like mice but some nations are sort of like half grown or almost grown elephants now too. So, the mice have to really scramble not to be rolled over on during the night if they don't want to get squished. It isn't just the U.S. as an elephant anymore. There is a whole family of elephants that the mice need to be aware of now. So, once again what does the world want?
I was sharing with one of my kids recently how life is sort of like the "Rolling Stone song "You can't always get what you want." Here are the lyrics if you forgot them.
You can't always get what you want (R)
But if you try real hard
You might just get what you need
end quote of lyrics.
Which basically means "No one and no group of people ever gets exactly what they want. But if they try hard enough they might just get what they need to survive their lives!"
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
