It is now standard procedure for children over 5 in Syria and Iraq (in areas ISIS has taken over) to be trained daily in the Koran and to memorize verses. However, that really isn't the problem. The problem is that they are also shown beheadings and torture and crucifictions in person from age 5 on too. So, immediately you have children so traumatized that they literally would to do anything rather than have themselves beheaded, crucified etc.
If you have children imagine what kinds of traumas this would induce (life long PTSD).
One boy who is somewhere between 15 and 18 talked about a friend of his at age 13 going with a group of ISIS soldiers to a battle and being martyred in that battle. 13 year olds have good reflexes but not enough experience to survive most battles of the kinds they are having over there now. So, it is sort of like (they really have no chance at all to survive) battles with other men because they just aren't experienced enough and basically just become suicide martyrs instead as child soldiers.
The other problem with this kind of training is that they are also training the next generation of ISIS PTSD problematic distressed soldiers who might fight for ISIS when they get to be 16 to 18 years of age and become suicide bombers or soldiers for ISIS.
