Russia calls for 'reset 2.0' with United States

Though this could just as easily be a ruse or a feint by Russia it also makes sense for Russia to want to "Calm Down" the rhetoric with the U.S. Sanctions may be biting Russia more than most people like at this point. And don't forget people in Russia are just as scared as Putin's rhetoric threatens World Nuclear War as well. So, whether this is for real or not it will tend to make people's of the world breathe a little easier at least for now.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Sunday said the situation in Ukraine had improved following U.S.-imposed sanctions, and that as a result it was time for a second "reset" moment between the two global powers.
In a round of television interviews, Lavrov said Moscow was "absolutely interested in bringing the ties to normal," adding, however, that "it was not us who destroyed them." The U.S. and its partners accuse Russia of fomenting instability in Ukraine and of lawlessly annexing the Crimean peninsula, which led to stiff sanctions against Russian businesses.
"The current U.S. administration is destroying today much of the cooperation structure that it created itself along with us," Lavrov said. "Most likely, something more will come up — a reset no.2 or a reset 2.0."
Lavrov was referring to the Obama administration's infamous "reset" with Russia, in which then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton presented Moscow with a big red button. Due to a translating error, the button said "overload" and not, as intended, "reset."

Another factor is that most of the world who studies this kind of stuff knows that unless Russia had supported Assad in staying in Syria as it's leader that ISIS simply would not exist now and the U.S. and Sunni Arab nations wouldn't be putting out millions of dollars every day now to get rid of them.

Also, ISIS is actually a bigger actual threat to Russia than to the U.S. because the backbone of ISIS is partly Chechen fighters who might eventually return to Russia and blow up things there as well. So, the U.S. , Europe and Sunni Allies are putting out likely billions of dollars now to not only clean up Russia's mess but also potentially protecting Russia from lots of Chechen bombs going off there from Trained Chechen bomb makers out of ISIS in the future. Also, with thousands demonstrating for Ukraine Sovereignty in Russia this also could take Putin out of power if he doesn't handle this correctly in Russia now.
