It is easily possible for a man or woman on earth to be all three. In fact, it could be said that we are all these things naturally when we are born or even when we are conceived.
I think the moment it really dawned on my that I was a citizen of the Earth was when I was flying over to Japan from San Francisco and I saw the sun still up and setting on Japan while it was 11 hours after I too off from San Francisco around 9 am that morning in December 1985.
This became more obvious as I also visited Thailand, then Nepal, then India until I was there two weeks in Thailand and then almost 4 months in Nepal and India with my wife and three children ages 10 to 14 then in 1985.
So, by the time I returned with my family in April 1986 I really felt like a Citizen of Earth for sure from then on. I never really returned to who I was before ever after that.
I found I liked people in many ways more in other countries than I like people in the U.S. I think this is because then more people were so close to death they really had no time to become afraid of death the way Americans tend to be. We sort of hide from death by sweeping up bodies with Ambulances and making them magically disappear so most people won't see death so they can pretend it doesn't exist. But, in the end this makes Americans in many ways unrealistic children, because meditating on death is one of the ways to full enlightenment when done properly. So, without a knowledge of what death is people can only be really children.
But, once you understand death and can laugh at yourself and your own death then you are capable of full enlightenment and of leading others into full enlightenment too.
This life is really a tricky business, isn't it?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
