There are only 4 biocontainment units in the U.S. The Texas hospital where Duncan was treated after coming here to visit his family from Liberia was not one of these. Did the nurse get Ebola because Duncan should have been flown to one of these 4 places where people are better trained for this? Also, did Duncan die unnecessarily because he wasn't sent to one of these 4 biocontainment units?
I don't have the answers to any of these questions. I just think someone should be asking these questions before more people get infected and/or die unnecessarily.
You did notice that Duncan was the first person to die of Ebola in the U.S. ? Will his nurse now be the second?
I think some thought must be given to what I'm saying here.
