Of students from wealthier families 77% of college students earned Bachelor's degrees.
Of students from the poorest of families only 9% of college students earned Bachelor's degrees.
The difference is over double what it was in 1970.
However, it must also be said that for every 5 freshman college students going in (from all groups) only 1 college student actually graduates with a Bachelor's degree.
Also, these figures are taken only from people already in college and don't have anything to do with people now applying for college and are from the year 2013.
