The wind has died down now mostly. In the distance I can hear chain saws and grinders cutting and grinding up limbs of a large falling tree within a block or two of where I live on the Northern California coast. Previous years big trees have come down crushing homes. Even last year a neighbors tree fell in a wind that was an acacia and we had to hire someone to remove it. Luckily it didn't do any major damage but only slowly fell so it was supported by it's branches even though the tree was over 2 feet through at it's base. I was pretty impressed it didn't even break the stain glass window into our shower in that particular bathroom in the house.
It feels like Hawaii outside with the Pineapple express air from Hawaii visiting the Northern California coast now in the early morning. It rained lightly all night with very heavy winds of up to 40 mph which brought down trees and branches throughout the area. Where I live there isn't flooding that I know about yet. However, I haven't put on local news and weather yet to know for sure. But, the rain was enough (and there is more coming until Tuesday I believe of the river of storms from the Hawaii area in a continuing Pineapple express which is hitting now from about San Luis Obispo north all the way up into British Columbia and Alberta.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
