Grass Growing on Fire Roads in Forest near Nor. Cal Ocean
It was about 65 Degrees Fahrenheit when this was taken so I was in Bermuda shorts and a T-shirt from Seattle while walking my daughter's Corgi dog since she is away at college. I just thought it might be interesting for you to see how the grass is growing right on the fire roads that I often walk with my daughter's dog. I usually walk somewhere in the forest or at the ocean almost every single day rain or shine. (I have rubberized hooded work coat and pants if it is really bad out that will completely shed rain so I can stay dry if it is raining.
Walking every day keeps me in shape for skiing and swimming in mountain lakes and hiking in moutains and snorkeling when I'm in Hawaii. If you can walk about 30 minutes a day it can keep almost all of you in shape doing this. Then if you add weights or dumbells you can get enough exercise in your upper body to stay in shape too. Riding bicycles is good to or a Nordic Track is great when you are watching the news or programs on TV as well. I have mostly been walking and swimming and lifting weights to stay in shape. Also, by going gluten free I'm constantly slowly losing weight because I don't care for the alternatives to pasta and pizza that much which is good for my health as well.
