Mashable27 minutes ago- In the previous article it is mentioned that North Carolina did this same thing in 2012 because business interests were upset that they couldn't develop the coast the way they wanted to if climate change was acknowledged by state and local governments.
- So, this type of legislation in North Carolina and Florida is really about defrauding present and future coastal property owners in North Carolina and Florida who will lose some or all money invested in coastal properties that will either become permanently or temporarily flooded during ocean surges now and in the future.
- I wonder how FEMA looks at all of this?
