Netflix Blames Chip-Based Credit Cards for U.S. Growth Shortfall

I was reading more about the chip in the Credit car problem regarding Users. But, what I found strange is they left out the biggest problem which is people scanning your chip as they walk by you and stealing your identity and card number.

While the U.S. was busy having point of sale problems at places like Target, Europe and Asia demanded everyone have chips in their card possibly already for 5 to 10 years or so. So, a new problem has developed. (not point of sale). The new problem is criminals with Scanners which can steal your identity and card number while it is in your pocket.

So, you either need to buy a special wallet or you need to get special card covers with aluminum filings in them so they cannot read your cards. So, for now at least I have the special card covers and took my chipped cards to South Korea inside the unreadable chipped card sheaths for protection for now.

However, I think in the long run people likely will have special screening wallets instead like some are being made now for sale worldwide.
