If organized religion doesn't work for you anymore (or never did) it doesn't mean you have to become an agnostic or atheist.
There is another alternative of becoming a compassionate spiritual person. A person like this may or may not believe in God, Buddha or Nature but they value spiritual values that are the basis of ANY compassionate culture that believes in the 'Golden Rule' of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
So, organized religion works for some and not for others. If you are rational, logical and reasonable and educated, often orgnized religion is a lot like watching Disney cartoons where the prince and the princess marry and live happily ever after. But, real life is never like this at all.
So, spirituality and compassion for yourself and others no matter whether you believe in any religion or not is an alternative to Agnosticism or Atheism and is available to you if you want.
