How will the United States survive the death of the two party system?

This is an important question. But, I think the best answer might be that we will have 3 or more parties and only through a coalition of say the Libertarian and Republican parties will Republicans or Libertarians be able to elect another president. And all the rest of the presidents will likely be Democratic. This will change the Supreme court to be much more liberal within 10 years time also and owning a gun (any kind of gun) might be problematic as more and more people in the U.S. shoot each other as they are now.

So, it's quite possible that living in the U.S. will become more and more like living in Germany or France or England or Sweden or Norway over time because of this.

Is this a good thing? In some ways it might be but within about 25 to 50 years because democrats are less war hawks than Republicans we likely will see a world wide dictatorship possibly run by someone out of China or Russia. This is the problem long term that I worry about today after seeing world politics since I was 4 in 1952.

To me, the problem is that if you take away guns from law abiding citizens then only criminals have guns while they take over more and more territory within the U.S.

If law abiding citizens are armed they can at least shoot back and help eliminate the criminal element.

Otherwise, we just end up in a World Wide Dictatorship with no rights at all.

The deaths through old age of so many old Republicans has and will forever change what America is now and will be in the future.

This is something everyone on earth is going to have to get used to.

No matter how you feel about them worldwide, everything has changed now and it will never go back to being what it once was ever again.

"Make America Great Again" cannot happen because of demographics. And even if it did it would be like it was during the 1950s and not even during the 1960s or 1970s. So, to go back there now only would mean "More blood in the streets now" today.

The past is gone and now we have to deal with the present. Because "Tomorrow is another Day"
as Scarlett said in Gone with the Wind.

The past is gone and now all of us of every party will have to find some way to survive it!
