If you take the shape of geodesic domes for example, and integrate them into a greenhouse structure you would combine an aerodynamic quality that you might see in fast cars and planes into the greenhouse structure itself. In this way the structure would be much less likely to blow away in hurricane force winds. Of course any building (unless it is completely made of reinforced concrete or steel is going to blow away at winds of 200 miles per hour or more but you might get greenhouses to withstand 100 to 150 or more mile per hour winds with only one or more panes of glass broken if designed properly. And if you used plexiglas instead of glass it might make it to higher speed depending upon the design of the greenhouse because plexiglas might bend in high winds rather than break from the suction created by this much wind going over such a structure which if it were a wing would create lift.
This thought is more about how winds are going to be higher and higher through global warming and how solutions must still be found to grow food even if hurricane force winds are blowing some places on earth 1 or more times per month as time goes on.
Otherwise, even places with water to grow food won't be able to grow food because whatever is grown will have all the leaves, plants, vegetables or fruits flying away in the winds never to be seen again.
