Yes. Some of the first rains starting about last Friday or Saturday have been hitting California. Last night it hit the San Francisco Bay area. So, when I woke up at about 8 am this morning the deck and yard (front and back were wet). Then after a doctor's appointment later in the day my wife went shopping and once again the rain started coming down while we were unloading groceries from her car. Beautiful sunset tonight by the way. So, as of now rain is coming down sporadically between San Diego and Denver and the Sierras (and I even see some snow coming down too there). And the same is true in Utah and Nevada and parts of Arizona too. Anywhere there are fires mostly they are going out since last Friday in California and surrounding states because of the wet weather.
But remember, this is an El Nino year when traditionally California gets swamped with wet weather and mudslides with Houses being washed off of cliffs and out to sea on rivers etc. But, we'll see what happens this year. Either way millions of trees in the state need the water to stay alive and all the people need it too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
