Why?
I found that I was easily disappointed in life in my 20s and I found that in order to stay alive from 21 to 25 I needed to give up planning in the way that some people do. Another thing I noticed was how miserable many of my friends were who went through college got their degree in whatever it was and then hated the field that they had chosen and wanted to commit suicide because now they had to work in a field that they hated in order to pay off student loans and or raise the kids they had started to have with their girlfriends or wives in college.
So, I realized that I could stay alive being an opportunist in all aspects of life. This I found worked for me along the way. This worked whether it was a girlfriend or whether it was college or whether it was a job. So, an entrepreneurial attitude combined with the "good Old College Try" was what I found worked for me. And so I moved into Businesses that I either worked for or owned along the way also worked for me and my children and my family in general in creating a life I could actually stand to live and be relatively happy in.
Remember, if you aren't happy enough in whatever you do, you might not choose to even be alive.
So, figuring out how you can be happy enough to stay alive is a big part of surviving your 20s.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
