So, I have always expected Trump to throw the U.S. and possibly the whole world into a Great Depression doing something really stupid. Both Herbert Hoover and Trump are and were businessmen and the problem with this is the government is NOT a business and never will be.
Because of this one factor, nothing in government actually works the way a business does, not really.
So, when a businessman like Hoover or Trump try to change things they will usually create a Great Depression like Hoover did. The economics of the country are exactly like they were in 1929 with a lot of poor people a few rich people and almost no middle Class left after the Great Recession.
So, from this point of view we are really ripe for another Great Depression on multiple fronts. And because of Trump's craziness he might just take the whole world down into a Great Depression which could easily turn the whole world against us as a country for the next 100 years time.
