Presently it is raining as far south as Santa Barbara up to Eugene Oregon
We have received so far in California 200% to 500% above normal rainfall for May in the history of California. So, obviously this El Nino year is breaking all records we have ever had for rain in May. This will affect not only California but all points especially to the east of us as this storm moves generally in an eastward direction from here. We left Yosemite Valley because we didn't want to see flooding or potential snow in the Yosemite Valley which could snarl already difficult traffic every weekend there as Yosemite valley is a very popular tourist destination for people from all over the world. It is presently raining here on the Northern California Coast to where I am.
