Imagine the use of technology from the invention of the car and the plane until now. What did that all do to mankind?
It killed 100 million people in World war II. It killed 100 million people in the Cold war. It killed millions in World war I.
But, it also caused people to be able to travel all over the world in jet planes. it caused things like the Smartphone to be invented that put information into the hands of every child with one more than the information available to president Clinton when he was president.
Equal and even more powerful changes will take place the rest of this century both that will greatly help increase lifespans and drones on air, land and sea that kill millions and possibly billions by 2100 as well.
So, think about infinite good and bad an neutral possibilities and you have the Technological Singularity.
I can tell you we survive the Technological singularity. Why? Because it is in the interests of the technology to have us maintain and to serve it. That's mainly why we will survive the Technological singularity.
Take Tesla Cars for example: The only workers in a Tesla plant that are human are mostly programmers and MIT computer science engineers. Everything else building Teslas is either a robot or a computer and that's all.
This is the future with no workers at all building cars and planes and ships. This is the future with no human beings driving those cars and planes and ships. Get ready for that! Because this is what is coming! Or some variation of this.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
