However, NO Democratic presidential candidate has ANY chance of winning against Trump UNLESS our electoral process is protected against Putin's interference!
And by the way Trump is doing NOTHING to protect our electoral process against Putin or anyone else.
So, we likely will have another president (possibly Trump) Not elected by the American People but by secret agencies worldwide instead. IF Trump doesn't protect the electoral process likely it isn't going to happen. (This is just a pragmatic point of view given all present variables in place.)
In other words from a fully pragmatic level, short of a violent revolution our democracy very likely is over because of Trump and Putin.
How can we protect our electoral process?
The most logical way would be to require all states to have paper ballots so all records of voting are recorded on paper in some way because ALL electronic voting machines can be gamed. Anyone who knows anything at all about computers knows this. So, the ONLY physical protection is paper ballots out the other end to check who actually voted for what?
Otherwise, our democracy may already be over without sufficient protections in place.
