I think so but then again I was raised in the 1950s and early 1960s when if you didn't believe in God you might not live to tell about it. So, mostly if you didn't believe in God you didn't talk about that aspect of life very much.
But, the problem I see today is when you take away the morality of religions and mores you wind up with someone like Trump having his way with the truth (which means there is no truth at all in Trump).
So, if you give up all religion and morals and mores you wind up with a president just like Trump.
Which is completely paradoxical on one level because the religious right voted for Trump.
How does one reconcile that kind of insanity???
