This is the really obvious thing here. There is no defense of what he did at all. People who bring it up are attacked and their credibility is attacked but "NO ONE is defending what Trump did because it just cannot legally be defended" by anyone realistically.
It's completely an open and shut case for impeachment by the House at the very least. And now we are finding out similar things in regard to Australia and possibly Saudi Arabia too that may come out in the next few weeks as well.
Strangely enough, McConnell is saying he has to have the supreme court justice Roberts have a trial of Trump in the Senate if the House impeaches Trump too. So, this is all moving pretty fast at this point at least.
