There are MANY Potential futures:
However, if nothing significant changes we will be forced to modify ourselves technologically more and more in order to survive here on earth as human beings because of the ignorant mistakes we started making in the 20th century by inventing things like plastic, nylon, and batteries that NEVER biodegrade. This will force anyone who wishes to survive to modify to become more cyborg like by 2100 to 2200 if this continues. Though electric cars will make cleaner air by reducing combustion of gasoline and diesel engines they will exponentially increase water and land pollution and force humans to modify themselves into cyborgs more and more in order to survive this pollution. You are beginning to see these changes come all over the world while at the same time AI and human interaction is modifying the way childrens' brains function completely so in a sense we are becoming an entirely different species than we have ever been before both psychologically and physically through changes to our dna and to our basic way we process information.
