In a way it is sort of like "The Day after Tomorrow" where we are now on the east and west coast getting winter Hurricane like winter Storms devastating whole regions now both on the East coast and now the West Coast too.
My friend who was snowed in said a boyfriend of one of Lady renters got a snow shovel and shoveled snow while he rammed the snow and it piled up in front of his car until the road was passable by all wheel drive cars and 4 wheel drive trucks off his land by the way. I think the young people wanted to go to a dance or something. So, he was quite happy to have his road cleared so my friend and his girlfriend can now drive their cars out too to their nearby town.
By the way it appears they have now reopened interstate 5 both north of Redding and possibly 25 miles south of Bakersfield as well.
