This appears to be one of the times that this old saying is all about: "These are the times that try men's souls". It is very ancient but of course it refers to human kind in general not men in specific. But nevertheless it is about the times we live in.
Around the world country after country faces coronavirus. If you have looked at the news even countries like Japan that thought they were through with coronavirus are about to declare a disaster because the problem is coming back for them in a 2nd wave.
So, the point I'm making is to pray and to center yourselves for what is to come. We all must prepare to lose people we love now, especially politicians and actors and actresses along the way, if not people we know and love personally.
Learning to deal with this grief of so many will be difficult for all of us and especially difficult for the children who might not have lost anyone close yet.
Whether you believe in God or not it might be helpful if you at least pretend to believe in God to help you get through all this. Being completely alone with no useful belief system might not work the way all this is presently going.
If you know how to pray I would recommend it. If you know how to meditate or do yoga I would recommend it. Every one needs to do whatever it takes now to get through the next few years of all this to the other side. Otherwise they won't come out the other side of all this at all.
Now is the time for "One Day one moment at a time!" If you try to think too far ahead you will be wrong in what you are actually going to have to deal with. It won't be what you expect at all.
We are all dealing with the most unpredictable situation worldwide of our lifetimes since 1945.
So, be sure to take it one moment at a time so you can actually come out the other side of all this in one piece.
