If a person anywhere on earth goes on a ventilator they have less than a 1 in 5 chance of staying alive.
It's true that less than a 20% chance of staying a live is better than no chance at all.
But, it also means that if a person was put under before going on a ventilator that it is above an 80% chance that that moment of going under would be the last moment they would be conscious ever.
And I just thought people around the world would want to know this BEFORE this happened to them.
The other thing I was thinking about was how long does it take to recover from having tubes put into your lungs from the ventilator even if you do survive?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
