Many people think spirituality is just hocus pocus and being scared of things that go bump in the night. That might be true for people who are children as both children and adults but for people who take their studies further, spirituality is actually a technology.
From my present point of view it is about the technology of compassion. IF you approach spirituality from a place other than compassion for yourself and others often it becomes both self destructive or murderous.
But, if you are wise enough to approach spirituality from compassion for yourselves and all mankind and all life in the past, present and future of the whole universe then it becomes a compassionate spiritual technology that you can understand and use to help yourself and all beings with.
Enlightenment is a technology. Understanding is a technology. Compassion is in your enlightened self interest and the enlightened self interest of all beings in the past, present and future of the entire universe.
Understanding this is the beginning to your enlightenment and the enlightenment of all mankind and beyond.
