I think non-believers don't really understand this at all. People who believe in God or a higher power or Buddha or whatever don't do this because they want to. They do this to survive their lives.
What is the probability that I could have survived to even 20 years of age without believing in God?
Zero.
That might surprise you but it is obvious to me.
Someone that is as supernaturally gifted as I am would have been surely killed by God if I wasn't working for him 24 hours a day from at least age 15 onward.
So, I completely understand why God came into my life and stayed.
Because a person like myself not possessed by God would be dangerous here on earth.
However, a person like me working for God is a constant series of God's miracles happening 24 hours a day here on earth ongoing.
