The coronavirus pandemic isn't even close to being over. More than 20.2 million people worldwide have been known to be infected, and over 740,000 have died from COVID-19. Some countries are experiencing a second wave of infections while others, like the US, have only seen the outbreak worsen without respite.

There is only ONE good thing that I can see about how coronavirus is affecting the U.S. Because we haven't contained it it is running wild through our nation all over in some ways almost as bad as Sweden which never shut down at all ever.
So, we should reach full herd immunity (after all the people have died that could die) at some point possibly quicker than the rest of the world here in the U.S.
So, as other nations are still struggling with outbreaks we might have full immunity quicker than most and then possibly we might return to some new normal (not like 2019 and before). If you study history, nothing was the same after the 1918 Spanish Flu around the world. The Roaring 20s also were a direct result of the Spanish Flu and likely the Great Depression is also an indirect result of the Spanish flu because of how many older people died of the Spanish Flu they couldn't teach enough younger people soon enough to avoid a Great Depression.
So, it is easy for me to say looking back now that the Roaring 20s and the Great Depression likely wouldn't have happened without the 1918 Spanish flu Pandemic to kill off so many responsible people to the point where less mature and less responsible people were left to run things.
So, it is quite likely this could happen again this time worldwide like before during the next 20 to 40 years time here on earth (or something like it).
