From my experience of 73 years so far it is fairly easy for me to look forward and to see that at least the next 5 to 10 years here on earth is going to be pretty rough any way that you look at it.
So, if you don't help to train your kids how to survive the present bad times worldwide they won't be around for any good times that come either.
So, training your kids how to face themselves and the world is very important during these times (likely at least the next 5 to 10 years time) while the World Tries to recover (if it can) from the present pandemic worldwide.
How do you train your children and grandchildren to do this?
Mostly it is by example.
It cannot be: "Do what I say and not what I do!" Because that isn't going to work. If you know how to survive all this then your example is the most important thing you can do for them to give them courage to go on in face of everything they are going to face now likely until at least 2025 or 2030 because of the damage the coronavirus has done to worldwide civilizations already.
It isn't just the psychological damage to people around the world from all the losses of life and watching their friends and relatives die before their times like during a war.
It's everything of businesses closing and entertainment venues closing and singers and actors not able to make it financially in this era. It's restaurants and all sorts of businesses closing like remote hotels and dude ranches etc. Only a few entertainment venues even remain at all. Soon, Disneyland is supposed to open. However, even though I like to go there at least once a year with my wife to cheer us up I'm probably not going for at least a year or two for the same reason I might not fly on a plane (except maybe to Kauai or Maui before next December. I likely ONLY would get on a plane now to fly overseas where it isn't practical to do anything else.
So, train your children and grandchildren how to psychologically and physically survive bad times like we are in now. If you have already lived through things like the 1950s, the Cuban Missile Crisis, 9-11, the Viet Nam War and all that you have a lot to share with them of how you survive through times of great suffering and grief like now.
