The present blowback is mostly inflation and the starvation of likely 300 million people in the last year around the world. What the future blowback will be is presently unknown. But, thinking about this might be important because the blowback from stinger missiles which made Osama Bin Laden a national hero in Afghanistan among the Mujahadeen. Since the Taliban are related directly to the Mujahadeen in many cases this is something to think about too. And one way to look at it is that the U.S. lost this war in AFghanistan like the Soviets did too just like we lost the war in Viet Nam and just like Russia will likely lose this war in Ukraine as well. Whenever people living somewhere are fighting for their rights they through guerrilla warfare likely will eventually take back their countries around the world. You cannot say this is always true but for smaller countries this is often true.
Why is this?
Because it is too expensive to ship arms and equipment far away to foreign countries. The locals always have the advantage because they know the land and the people and what people want.
This doesn't always mean human rights because look at AFghanistan being the worst place for women to live on earth presently.
But, down through history Afghanistan is one of the nations on earth that has NEVER been successfully defeated and held for any length of time by outsiders EVER. So, this is something to think about too.
