There is a CNN Special on AI on Sunday at 8pm ET and 5 pm PT called "AI and the future of Humanity"

Kissinger before he died said that AI was potentially much more dangerous than Nuclear weapons. All you have to do is to watch something from the Terminator Series with Arnold to understand this better. However, the forms that AI could kill or maim or control the human race or prevent humans from ever growing up because they want to take care of us more and more is basically unlimited.

From my point of view, one of the most insidious problems of AI isn't them trying to kill us but instead trying to take care of us to the point where they don't let us grow up and keep us as pets much like we keep dogs and cats from birth.

This to me is even worse than the "Terminator Series" because if humans are not allowed to be more than pets to AI then you can see the problem here, can't you?

Which is worse: Becoming AI pets as humans or being rendered extinct by AI?

I think both are equally horrifying myself.
