One of the hardest things I had to face growing up: "Realizing that Humans are basically domesticated Animals"

However, when I finally realized this everything started to make sense in a way it hadn't before to me.

 Why?

Because my parents who were good people were also mystical Christian ministers in Los Angeles and ran a church there. But, neither of them had been to college or studied Psychology, philosophy or Cultural Anthropology.

When I began to put all these things together I began to see what I had been missing in my understanding of human beings.

First go back before any organized religions were in place. The first real religion in place was Brahmanism which has evolved now into Hinduism 10,000 years ago. Then next, was Buddhism which Hindus often see as an outgrowth of Hinduism sort of the way Catholics would view Protestantism.

Buddhism began around 2500 years ago (at least 500 years before Jesus was born).

Then Islam began in the 7th Century AD in the middle East.

It is interesting to me that all these religions started either in India or the Middle East which are very close to each other.

Then you have religions like the Mormon religion which started organically here in the U.S. and all sorts of other groups of people who have similar or somewhat similar beliefs here in the U.S.

But, when I look at all of this I see that: "RELIGIONS DO TWO THINGS. WHAT ARE THESE TWO THINGS? THEY KEEP PEOPLE FROM KILLING THEMSELVES WHENEVER A RELATIVE DIES AND THEY TEND TO OVERPOPULATE THE WORLD AND CAUSE HUMAN EXTINCTION THROUGH OVERPOPULATION".

I think as an educated person you cannot disagree with these statements.

So, whether you see religions as good or bad things (usually both) you also have to see that they prevent suicide and by doing that they also cause overpopulation of the whole planet and this is the main reason why we now have GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE.

So, the conclusion I have come to is that though religions were once useful to human survival now they have gone the other way into overpopulation and human extinction this century and after.

So, how does one deal with this fact worldwide?

I think that only people who are educated enough to fully understand this can fully even begin to deal with this problem regarding human survival ongoing here on earth and beyond.

So, though kindness towards others fostered by all religions is useful. What happens when this kindness leads to complete overpopulation of the planet and extinction?

This is the question we all must ask ourselves. There may not be any one useful answer because each of us have to live with ourselves regarding whatever decisions we make. Because if you make decisions you cannot live with then you die too.

So, how do we as a human race solve the problem of overpopulation which is slowly or quickly killing all of us through Global Climate changes?
