And everywhere north of about Monterey up to the Oregon Border is really getting nailed by rain tonight. I opened my hotel room door and looked outside and it's raining cats and dogs for the next several hours right now. and it's like this all the way up to the Oregon border. It's good in one way because we all need the rain in California but I hope everyone can survive this just like I hope everyone is okay in Southern California too from what just happened the last few days.
There is a saying in California: "When it rains it pours here" which is true.
If the rain gets going in California usually someone is going to have some problems from it especially in recent burn areas (of the last several years where things haven't grown back or been built back yet.
