The water was warm enough so that there were many teenagers and children and lovers in the water everywhere you looked. I walked our dog along the beach but she wasn't feeling that well I think or maybe just not used to being here in such warm water and tried to pull away from the water I was wading through.
My cheeks got a little red in the sun today too so the sun is getting more strong as we grow closer to June 21st the longest day of the year. It seems really warm because in Orange it was about 88 to 92 degrees today somewhere in there in Orange County south of Los Angeles County and a little closer to Laguna and Laguna Beach which is also in Orange County.
So, I was pretty surprised and glad I bought some new bermuda shorts in SLO on our way south from the SF Bay area. I'm really glad I didn't try to wear slacks today because it was pretty warm especially because where I live it's usually 5 to 10 degrees Colder than Santa Barbara any time of year, (sometimes more if it's foggy or stormy there further north.
