Being Conservative unfortunately is not being in touch with reality. (or ONLY being in touch with Rich Reality while everyone else starves)

Though I was raised very conservative (and completely safe) most of the time. (in other words most of the time no one was trying to knife or kill me (however, I experienced having a knife to my throat and being told they were going to cut my head off more than once between 8 and 10 years old.

There was this insanity in a lot of people who hadn't been aborted by their mother's that should have been. So, there were more killers out there from not being aborted and tortured by their mothers (or fathers) or both instead.

However, generally I was much more safe generally speaking than the average person who was then tortured by parents with things like lit cigarettes burned into their arms or hands by father's who were in World war II and were now crazy veterans really too insane to be walking around children even their own children then.

But, most of the time I was pretty safe in my safe Conservative world when someone wasn't trying to kill me or me having to defend myself from crazy people. However, I was big enough to take people down who attacked me especially after I was 12 years old when I grew from 5 foot 2 to 5 foot 10. Then if most people messed with me I was really going to hurt them so I could survive. This is how you survived then in the 1950s and early 1960s, if someone attacked you you needed to really hurt them to stop them from attacking you so you didn't wind up in the hospital or dead then.

However, like I said, most of the time I was very safe and looking back now very unrealistic about how the rest of the world actually worked where people were starving all the time here in the U.S. even then.

However, kids that were littler especially in Junior High School were held upside down and had their heads stuck in toilets with poop in the toilets or they were rolled down hills in trash cans screaming for their mothers.

This was actually pretty normal in public schools (even nice one's like I went to especially in Junior HIgh school where kids were usually tortured by others the most. However, then in High school this stopped because if people did that they might be killed by the victims like you see now when kids get harmed and go home and get their father's gun and start taking people out.

So, though I was safe most kids were not most of the time so I was able to grow up much saner than most kids were that I knew in life then.

And my very conservative parents who didn't smoke or drink and were ministers in a church generally kept me much safer than other kids I knew growing up. So, I could be relatively sane now here at 77 and have made fairly good decisions to still be alive and have put my kids through college and so they have good lives too now and likely my grandchildren will have very good lives too.

So, I'm very grateful to my parents for the way they raised me. However, it wasn't a very realistic view of the world the way it actually is.

However, as a child to grow up in a fairy tale reality like Conservative children often do is sort of pleasant even if it causes other people to die along the way.

This is the problem: Though my life has been good other people's lives have not been good.

Because: "What happens to the least of us happens to all of us!"

OR "What goes around comes around" Karma.

So, do unto others the way you would like to be treated too.

And not enough people do this these days especially.
