The Ford Model T (foreground) and Volkswagen Beetle (background) are among the most mass-produced car models in history.

Though I never owned a Model T Ford likely my grandfather did as he had a Dodge that he drove my father and brothers and sisters to Texas in before there were any paved roads outside of cities then in the early 1920s. Only the driver had goggles so everyone else was crying over the eye burning Akali Dust roads. So, Dad said it ate away at your eyes and inside of your mouth to travel like this before roads were paved across the Alkali Roads of ARizona and likely New Mexico and possibly parts of Texas then too (west texas) which is also a lot of desert like Arizona and New Mexico. he also drove back to California and Oregon as well as Morenci, Arizona where he was an electrical contractor helping build houses for the copper miners in Morenci, Arizona around the time my father was born which is 1916. I think they were there at least 2 years while he built homes for miners in Morenci, Arizona then as an Electrical Contractor with his family living near there too.

Though I never owned a Model T Ford I did own two VW Bugs, a 1965 that my parents bought me for going to college in and then later after I had bought my Camaro 1968 I bought another VW Bug a 1966 with more power than the 1965 and it got about 30 miles per gallon which allowed me to travel all over the western states from California to Colorado to Arizona, new mexico and Utah in 1970 and then I drove home for Christmas then after visiting friends in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Utah and Colorado then.
