Ron Paul: Libertarian like it's 1776

Is Ron Paul left of Obama, or a throwback to Ike?

When I was growing up in the 1950s my father and grandfather loved President Eisenhower because he won the War in Europe like General MacArthur won the war in the Pacific. Now over 60 years later there is someone who sounds a lot like General and President Eisenhower once again. And strangely enough Eisenhower's and Ron Paul's early mentors wrote the Declaration of Independence and signed it even if it extincted them and some of their families. And their point of view then was principle over profit. And what is the difference of World Wide Wall Street in the 1990s and in the 2000s so far? Profit over any principles. So, this is why Ron Paul is likely the only non-hypocritical candidate in the Republican primaries so far, even though John Huntsman has some really good ideas. Whether Ron Paul can be elected or not I don't think is even the question. I think the real question has to be: Why has the Republican party gone from Principle rather than profit to ONLY Profit rather than any principles? Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate with REAL Principles and reminds especially young people of General and President Eisenhower of the Greatest Generation and of the founding fathers' Principle before Profit.
