"We Win or We Die": Documentary at Slamdance Film Festival

One of my sons best friends from High  School is in Libya  and has a film by this name. His film played at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah Sunday night. The documentary is called, "We Win or We Die" which is a saying by a famous Libyan Hero.  He Skyped me yesterday from Benghazi, Libya and then my son was home this morning so my wife and son and I were able to Skype online more with him in Benghazi, Libya. He said things were getting difficult there because many of Qaddhafis cronies are trying to take over the new government and shut out the democracy activists from Benghazi. If it gets too much worse he is thinking he might come home to the states for a awhile until things settle down in Benghazi. He is also working on a music festival there to generate money for widows, orphans, war wounded and people who need help now that the war is over that overthrew the Qaddhafi Regime.

Last night either before or after his film played at Slamdance in Park City he Skyped in and held a question and answer period with the audience at Slamdance from Benghazi, Libya. I had never heard of this kind of thing being done before an audience. Matt Millan has a degree in Physics from UCSC. Anyone on earth who cares about Freedom and Democracy would be very touched and inspired by this documentary which includes interviews of people in Benghazi, Libya who were involved in the conflicts there including the two teenage daughters of the man who sacrificed himself to save his city.
