By sharing what you are interested in often other people are interested in one or more of the same things you are. Sometimes people are researching information on a given subject that you might be a master of, (or have at least already learned a great deal about) and that might be helpful to them.
For example, a blog article I created a long time ago was about "how to do take the porcupine quills from the face of your dog?" I have had two experiences regarding this, once with a friend's dog (a Labrador) in Mt. Shasta in the 1970s and once with my own family's dog in the 1980s. And in both cases (because both dogs were female and didn't try to fight us as we removed the quills we succeeded. So, for people who don't have $1000 or more to have this done in a Veterinary Hospital and might just have to have their dog put to sleep if they don't do it themselves (or let the dog die from the quills of a porcupine into it's face), knowing how to remove the quills is an important thing to know for people visiting or living in the country where porcupines still live. If a dog messes with a porcupine and there are no humans there to help likely the dog will either go blind or die or both. So, over the years there were many visits to this blog article.
However, the most visited article was called:Cessna 152 which is about the Cessna 152 which tends to be the safest plane to learn to fly in along with the Cessna 172. This mostly has to do with the forgiving handling characteristics of a Cessna 150 or 152 that tend to prevent crashes if you get into a spin from doing a hammerhead (or at any other time) and can't pull out you just let go of the yoke(steering wheel) and it usually rights itself. Since I flew my first plane at age 8 over Santa Fe New Mexico, flying has been one of the loves of my life along with motorcycles (mostly off road) and traveling places around the world whenever I could afford to do that with my friends and family.
So, as you learn about things you love to do or learn about things you are interested in often times other people are interested in these things too and want to here your experiences and what you have learned about these things. So, in this way each of our experiences in life become helpful to other people aroung the world in living their lives too.
