U.S. stock futures were in a narrow range while Asia markets also traded little changed on Tuesday.
Dow Jones industrial average index futures were up 0.1%, Standard & Poor's 500 index futures added 0.01% and Nasdaq index futures were 0.03% lower.
Japan' Nikkei 225 declined 0.4% at 14,423.19. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was down 0.4% at 21,766.85. China's Shanghai Composite fell 0.1% at 2,064.90.
On Monday, the Nasdaq lost 50.4 points, or 1.2%, to close at 4,226.39. The S&P 500 fell 9.08 points, or 0.5%, to 1,857.44. The Dow Jones fell 26.08 points, or 0.2%, to 16,276.69.
MONDAY: Stocks end lower as Nasdaq flops
Benchmark oil for May delivery eased 4 cents to $99.56 per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract rose 14 cents to close at $99.60 on Monday.
